Nomination
Photographs of Robert Taylor (MIT 1892), the first African-American architect and MIT graduate from the Architecture Department. He was the first African-American student at the Institute. He designed many of the buildings at Tuskegee University, including the Tuskegee Chapel, in which he died.

  • Thank you M.I.T. for giving my school(Tuskegee University c/0 “1997″) such a gifted creator! The school of architecture was recently named in his honor and i am very proud to have walked in some of the halls designed by this tremendous achiever and ground blazing individual!
