An alumnus of the class of 1973 writes, "This was a room-sized vacant space accidentally created by several heating and air-conditioning installations in the sub-basement of Building 9. It was hard to find, but every student knew where it was, and talked about the creative grafitti.

"The students created it, only the students knew about it, and all the students knew about it. People even spent the night there."
