Hardware watch: Porient and Zaurus SL-C3200

The Porient UMPC is mentioned in an informative blog post. This is the first UMPC I've heard of that comes with Linux. Pricing is not bad at about $430 (in quantities of 200), but it looks like owning one could still be a bit of an adventure. There's another blog posting here.
Meanwhile, over at Dynamism, they are selling the Sharp Zaurus SL C3200 for $799. It also runs Linux. Dynamism sells hardware that's generally only available in Japan. They "westernize" things and provide a mail-in repair service.
